My relatives live in there :-) The house was built probably a little after the Italians left ... so circa 1940 Gojjam. It had a 'nora' layer which's finally giving way, and the second lower layer of bricks which protected it from rain. No serious restoration work has been done to it over the years, as far as i know. Nobody seems interested in restoring it in the near future either ... or vacating it, for that matter.
I guess at some point people get attached to all memories a home - births, deaths and cracked walls alike.
